In a weather dependent power grid, adequacy must evaluate correlated impacts of weather on an increasing range of attributes like wind and solar. Under these new challenges, short-term operational flexibility needs to be considered in resource adequacy models. Using shared data sets with production cost models, PSO resource adequacy suite evaluates locational and economic impacts of all types of resources.
